On Sunday Dec 27 th , Cargill Community Centre and the Cargill Park grounds were hosts to the 4 th Annual Cookies with Santa Event. From 5:30 to 7:30 pm, The CDCF committee lite up the park, had Santa come see the children, gave out cookies, candy canes, and refreshments. Carolers voices filled the air around the bright background festival lights. Some families huddled around the bonfire roasting marshmallows while other families came inside the CCC to socialize. CDCF chair and co-chair, Willie and Pennie organized this event, with the helping hands of other CDCF volunteers. After an amazing year, being able to fund raise and give back to community organizations over $115,00, they wanted to offer this totally free event as a way to say thank you to the community for their support and all its volunteers!!
